HEARTMission Statement

The mission of the Humane Evacuation Animal Rescue Team (HEART) is to provide assistance in times of emergency/disasters, whether man-made or natural, rescuing animals, setting up and operating emergency animal shelters when requested by the appropriate authority having jurisdiction.

Important Donation Update

In light of the recent wildfires impacting our Spokane-area community, HEART is actively helping support pets and families at the fairgrounds and beyond.

We are currently updating our Venmo donation link and QR code to ensure that all donations go directly to HEART and can be used for animal supplies, emergency needs, and the ongoing care required during this response.

Please DO NOT send donations using any previous Venmo link or QR code that you may have saved, screenshotted, or received earlier. A new, verified Venmo link and QR code will be posted here as soon as the update is complete.
